Some of them have already been built and with the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) launch they will come alive and become more convenient for passengers, some of them are completely new, they will be made according to the Moscow Transport standards with modern infrastructure, a high level of passenger services and amenities for passengers with disabilities.
With the MCD-3 and MCD-4 launch citizens of the Central Administrative District (CAO) will have an opportunity to build new through routes and passengers of the diameters will be able to make profitable and quick interchanges using the Troika card and choose convenient and fast urban transport for their daily trips.
To date, the work is underway on reconstructing 8 and creatingof 2 new hubs. Construction is underway on Rizhskaya – one of the largest transport hubs is being built here, which will connectMCD-2, MCD-3, MCD-4 and two Moscow Metro lines, on the Three Stations Square – the transport hub, which will become the largest in Russia: three stations, MCD-2, MCD-4, two metro lines. On Testovskaya, transport hub will connect MCD-1 and MCD-4, three metro lines and the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) at the three central stations: Belorussky and Savelovsky – MCD-1 and MCD-4 will pass through them and along two metro lines, as well as at Kursky - will connect MCD-2, MCD-4 and three metro lines, on Begovaya - will connect MCD-1, MCD-4 and the metro line, and on Elektrozavodskaya - will connect MCD-3 and two metro lines.
Absolutely new transport hub is being built in the southeast –Serp i Molot, it will connect MCD-2 and MCD-4 and two metro lines. In addition, on the Mitkovskaya line, with the MCD-3launch, it is planned to build the Mitkovo station, which will connect the diameter and two metro lines. Each hub also includes the surface transport - interchanges to it are also available with the Troika card.

Transport hubs combine several modes of transport and allow passengers to reduce their trip time due to quick and convenient interchanges. With the launch of the third and fourth diameters in Moscow, there will be more interchanging hubs, we are integrating them into the existing city framework. At the same time, passengers will have benefit - they will spend less time and money», – noted Maksim Liksutov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport.
Extensive works are now being carried out to develop the two prospective MCD-3 and MCD-4. In order to launch them, Moscow is undertaking extensive works to develop track infrastructure and construct new railway stations. After their launch, there will be 138 MCD stations on the overground metro network. The prospective MCD-3 Leningrad-Kazansky will create a new 85 km railway line, which will connect Zelenograd and Ramenskoye. There will be 41 stations on the new diameter. 14 of them are interchanging stations with 21 interchange options to the metro, the MCC and other diameter stations. The MCD-4 Kievsko-Gorkovsky will run through the capital from west to east. It will be the longest transport route in Moscow, its length will be 86 km. With the MCD-4 launch, the railway network will include 37 stations and after 2025, the number of stations will increase to 39.
